THE PROJECT
I implemented and refined various UI/UX features for this 5-level game experience meant to be fully enjoyed within a 30-minute limit. My responsibilities included collaborating closely with game designers, creating game mechanics, and ensuring the final product adhered to both design guidelines and technical constraints.
How I worked with the level designer
Working closely with the puzzle designer I was passed the floor plans of each puzzle to build and stylize.


When styling the levels, my main design principles were to make it as easy as possible for players to learn the game mechanics.
Areas/Objects of Interest must command attention! Using lights, sounds, or animation I can guide the player's attention towards important things to help the player solve the puzzle.
How I developed game mechanics
Wanting to work on something more technical to contribute to the VR experience, I developed the laser mechanics of the game. 

The laser mechanic requirements:
1. Lasers must be able to be teleported
2. Lasers must reflect off of mirrors 
3. Solid objects must block lasers
